In celebration of delicious food 'erry day, this 5-Minute Vegan Basil Pesto Sauce is too delicious and simple to pass up!
Combine all ingredients in food processor and blend for about 1-2 minutes, until everything is nicely chopped but not pureed.
If serving over pasta, boil pasta according to package directions, drain, and toss with your basil pesto sauce.
Serve and enjoy!
Oil and salt measurements are based on taste. Start with the smaller amount and add more as needed for flavor or consistency.
Nutritional yeast can be omitted if not available. Nuts can be replaced with a different nut such as cashews, pine nuts, walnuts, pecans, etc.
If serving with pasta, gluten-free pasta can easily be used, and we actually prefer it usually!
