While we don’t exactly eat a gluten-free diet, I will say that it’s most definitely something we continue to experiment with. I personally think I feel better without gluten in my diet, especially when it comes to my skin!
Additionally, we have so many gluten-free friends and family members, it only seems natural to offer gluten-free options for them as well. For most of my recipes, wheat and gluten-free options can be interchanged. If you ever have any questions, just drop a comment and ask!
So without further adieu, if you’ve been looking for a great gluten-free flour blend for all of your gluten-free baking and cooking needs, look no further! This recipe is not only super simple, it’s really versatile in everything from baking to sauces! 🙂
The reason I crafted this bad boy is two-fold:
Store bought gluten-free flour blends are usually quite expensive and inconsistent in my recipes!
I was finding that most of the flour blend recipes I was finding online were overly complicated (sometimes calling for up to 6 different grains!) and didn’t always work the way I needed them too.
So, when something isn’t working, what do you suppose I’m gonna do? I’m gonna make that sucker work!
What surprised me though, is that “less is more” is definitely an adage that applied to this recipe. Simply mix together the ingredients and store in an airtight container to use anytime you need! So easy!
3 Ingredient Gluten-Free Flour Blend
- 1.5 c brown rice flour
- .5 c white rice flour
- 3/4 c tapioca starch
Blend all 3 ingredients well.
Store in an airtight container until needed for ultimate deliciousness!
